Today on DelmarvaLife –

An independent feature film is shooting in Ocean City next year, and you could be in it. The film is called “To Avenge.” Originally slated to be shot on-location this fall, it had to be pushed back to September of next year. Philadelphia filmmaker Nick Belial says he wants to use local for extras in the film. If you are interested, click this link.

 

Dr. Suni Jani of Community Behavioral Health joins us to talk about Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder and how to know if you need to seek treatment.

We’re also going to get a preview of tonight’s Aerial Tour Of Delmarva, courtesy of Chopper 16 and Skycam 16.

 

Chef David Levy from Bay Country Bakery in Cambridge is in the Kirby And Holloway Kitchen with a German feast. He’s also giving us the word on Crabtoberfest in Cambridge. It’s all happening on Saturday, October 6, 2018. It’s starting at 3 p.m. at the Governor’s Hall at Sailwinds Park, 200 Byrn Street, Cambridge, MD.

 

Then, we dive into the wacky and wild, when we stop by Ripley’s Believe It Or Not in Ocean City.
Delmarvalife’s Sydney Whitfield shows us why one stop here, will turn into a trip you’ll remember for years down the road.

 

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. One of the organizations participating is Women Supporting Women as it hits a special milestone. We’ll learn more about the group and how you can help them mark the occasion. The 17th Annual Walk for Awareness is on  Saturday, October 13th. Registration is at 8:30 and the walk begins at 10 at Winterplace Park in Salisbury. Registration is $25 per person and $30 per person the day of the event.
